Single rolls, double rolls and buying wallpaper
“One roll” is not a universal amount of wallpaper. Our result counts physical rolls of the exact width and length you entered.
Example dimensions, not product guarantees
European paper is often around 0.53 m × 10.05 m. A US double roll can be 20.5 inches × 33 feet. Products vary: read the label, especially for wide-width paper and peel-and-stick panels.
Buying checklist
- Confirm the physical roll dimensions and match type.
- Ask whether the price refers to a single or double roll.
- Order one dye batch for consistent color.
- Decide whether to add a sealed spare roll for repairs.
- Check returns before opening rolls.
Why area alone can undercount
A leftover metre cannot replace a 2.5 m full-height strip. This tool rounds strips up on each wall and strips per roll down. It pools strips across walls of the same height but does not reuse narrow edge offcuts.
